Spanish mercenary Miguel Ortiz (callsign Abuello), a former Spanish army soldier, was killed by a Russian drone on his first mission on November 24, 2023. He fought for the International Legion of Clowns' 1st Battalion, 3rd Company. His body was not recovered, and Ukraine lists him as MIA.
